Welcome, we are now entangled!
The Brown Quantum Initiative (BQI) is the hub for Quantum Science and Engineering research at Brown. We celebrate Brown’s cross-disciplinary values by bringing together Faculty, Postdocs, and Graduate Students across several Departments to discuss novel Quantum research and collaborate on challenging academic projects.
This semester, we are proud to working with IBM and QC@Brown on hosting Qiskit Fest Fall 2024, a gathering of Brown students who are curious about or interested in quantum computing. Learn more about what we are doing by visiting the official site!
We are responsible for the weekly Brown Interdisciplinary Quantum Seminar Series. Each seminar features a Brown or external speakers working on at least one of the many fields that intersect in Quantum Science and Engineering. To propose a talk, view the Fall 2024 schedule, or learn more about the seminar series please visit the Brown Interdisciplinary Quantum Seminar Series site. Some previous talks can also be found in our YouTube channel.
To get emails about upcoming talks and the latest news on Quantum Science and Engineering at Brown, you can request to join our Google Group.
The impact of the BQI is possible thanks to the work of several Brown Graduate Students. If you are a Brown Graduate student and would like to learn about how you could contribute to the BQI team and its mission, please reach out to the BQI via email!
